Wolf Tales at Father Hennepin Bluffs
Wolf Tales is a mashup of the familiar fairy tales Peter and the Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs. The story is told by the Wolf, who is not big or bad, just misunderstood - and wants to set the record straight. The show starts with a kid-focused workshop where audience members can learn and practice interactive parts of the show. Saturday July 27, Hart Lake Apartments, 3839 Hart Blvd. NE, noon to 3 pm. Free to attend and free to show your car. Last year's show featured more than 40 cars, including classics and Corvettes. Show cars will arrive about 11 am. A Fifties band will play noon to 3 pm. Food trucks and the local Scouts will sell hamburgers and hotdogs. Come visit with old friends.

Help CPNA relaunch
The Columbia Park Neighborhood is the only neighborhood in Minneapolis without a neighborhood association to represent its interests. Help relaunch the Columbia Park Neighborhood Association Saturday, Aug. 24, 1-2:30 pm at Eastside Food Co-op, 2551 Central Ave. NE. Unlimited Keyes Art Fair

SACA Thrift Store will host its first-ever fashion show, showcasing wedding, work wear, school fashion and Halloween outfits from the store. Models are volunteers and friends of SACA, including Columbia Heights Mayor Amáda Márquez Simula. Purse Bingo will also be part of the event, where attendees can play for just $1 per card for a chance to win a purse.
