Are you familiar with TRE® ~ Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises? The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board will offer free virtual gardening and cooking classes this summer for ages 18 and up from its Creekview Recreation Center. Courtney Tchida with the Minnesota Horticulture Society will share gardening tips and plans for the early, middle, and late parts of the season. NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) offers a free online educational course that helps families and friends learn about mental illnesses, the brain, treatment, and resources to help a loved one living with a mental illness. Introduction to Zen Practice
Compassionate Ocean Zen Center, 652 17th Ave. NE, will offer a free two-part Introduction to Zen Practice mini-course. Offered Mondays, Oct. 4 & 11, 7-9 pm. This is a two-class introduction to Zen meditation and related practices.
