Canning class at Northeast UMC
Basic demonstration and participation of water bath canning as recommended by USDA. No cost unless you wish to purchase apple butter or salsa that we will be canning. Gun safety conversation with St. Anthony Police
Representatives from the Safer Families, Safer Communities Project; the Be SMART Campaign to Reduce Child Gun Deaths; and the St. Anthony Village Police Department will share information about responsible gun storage at home during “Keeping Kids Safe: An adult conversation about kids, guns and safety,” Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 7 pm, at the St. Anthony Community Center.

New exhibit and puppet shows: Waterways and Otterways
Local artist Kat Corrigan brings her show Waterways and Otterways, a collection of river otter paintings, to the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization Stormwater Park and Learning Center. The community is invited to a series of free interactive community events for all ages to celebrate the art with a puppet show, make-and-take coloring books, and a community mural project.
