“First 100 Days”
Howard M. Christopherson will document the first 100 days of Donald Trump's second presidential term. From Jan. 20 to April 30, he will create a new, one-of-a-kind 6x6-inch piece of art every day, with each piece inspired by the events of the day and his own emotional and intellectual reactions. Instructors of The Atelier
The Holland Arts East Gallery is pleased to present Instructors of The Atelier, a group show featuring artwork by instructors of The Atelier Studio Program of Fine Arts in Minneapolis. Featured artists include Laura Tundel, Christine Mitzuk, Andy Sjodin, Kenneth Schweiger, Cyd Wicker, Lauri Meyer and Jeff Limke. Through June 30 at Holland Arts East Gallery, 639 22nd Ave. NE. Josh Blanc will talk about how some of his glaze or kiln “mistakes” led to very cool creations. Layl McDillwill explore how cane making has taught her acceptance of whatever you get. Experiment with some glazes in the tile studio and then make some of your own monsters or maidens in Layl’s polymer clay studio.
