Pink Cloud nights at Indeed Brewing

Indeed Brewing Company, 711 15th Ave. NE, is leaning into the celebration of Dry January with a free sobriety-themed art and live music series, occurring on Fridays, Jan. 9, 16 and 23, 7-11 pm in the Ox taproom. The “Pink Cloud” event series highlights local artist Ben Hering, whose playful, yet bold visual art, made up entirely of recycled materials, will adorn the walls of the Ox for all of January. This installation focuses on themes of the past, ancestry and nostalgia – what Hering likes to call the “sting of memory.” His wife Kelly will contribute short form written pieces on sobriety to accompany his artwork. Dave Power, local drummer and close friend of Hering, will bring in a different band on each night of the series spanning a variety of genres – from live acoustic jazz to down-tempo electronic music.
