Echoes of Gregorian Chant

Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE, hosts a unique organ concert, Echoes of Gregorian Chant, on Sunday, Nov. 16, 3 pm. The event will feature Dr. Samuel Backman, Director of Sacred Music at Holy Cross, performing a program that brings timeless Gregorian melodies to life through the majestic and kaleidoscopic sound of the pipe organ. This evocative concert explores how Gregorian melodies have inspired composers across centuries. Free. Donations are encouraged to support the Holy Cross Sacred Music & Arts Endowment Fund, ensuring the continued flourishing of sacred music in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis.
