Free community meals at Gustavus Adolphus
Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 1509 27th Ave. NE, serves free community meals on the first Saturday of each month. Meals are served in the church basement 5:30-7 pm. The next meals will be served Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Dec. 6.

Faith United Methodist Church, 2708 33rd Ave. NE, holds a free Community dinner every 2nd Thursday of the month, 5-6 pm. Everyone is welcome. Upcoming dates are June 12, July 10, Aug. 14, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov 13 and Dec. 11.

Enjoy a breakfast of sausage, potatoes, eggs, pancakes and beverages the third Sunday of the month. Breakfast is served downstairs in the Fellowship Hall, 8:30-11:30 am. St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church, 515 University Ave. NE, will hold a Thanksgiving lunch on Sunday, Nov. 16, 11 am-1 pm on the 2nd floor of the parish hall. Lunch includes a warm, open-faced faced turkey sandwich, gravy, stuffing, green beans, dessert and beverage. Cost is $14 for adults; $7 for children between 6-12 years and children under 5 are free. During the event, there will be turkey raffles and basket raffles as well as Ukrainian folk art for sale.

The Holy Cross Rosary Guild will host its annual Christmas Bazaar and Village Display in Kolbe Hall, 1630 4th St. NE.
