The Columbia Heights Peace Breakfast honors leaders in nonprofits, faith communities, and elected officials dedicated to peace, cooperation, understanding, and collaboration in our community. Fixx Coffee in Columbia Heights will cater a light breakfast (with dairy-free and gluten-free options.) There will be music and brief presentations by local faith leaders and nonprofits. This year’s emcee is Columbia Heights’ Mayor Amáda Márquez Simula. Tuesday, June 10, Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. Doors open at 7:30 am; program starts at 8 am. Breakfast at 8:15.
