Volunteers needed for Celebrate Northeast Parade
The Celebrate Northeast Parade relies on the help of more than 80 volunteers every year to make this family-friendly summer event come to life. This is a great opportunity for friends, families and coworkers to get together and support the 94-year-old community tradition. The 94th Celebrate Northeast Parade will be held Tuesday, June 20, 6:30-9 pm. The parade is the largest one-day event in Northeast Minneapolis drawing 5,000 people to Central Avenue. 2023 parade officials: Grand Marshal: Mike Iacarella; Business Ambassador: Siwek Lumber and Millwork; Arts Ambassador: Solar Arts Building; Community Ambassador: Pat Vogel.
