Meet Saturday, April 20, 9 am, Columbia Heights Public Library, 3939 Central Ave. NE. Gather at the library to pick up safety vests and garbage bags and get street/park assignments. (Park assignments are made for families with young children who participate.) The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association is hosting an Earth Day Cleanup on Saturday, April 20, 9:30 am-noon. Check in at Beltrami Park at 9:30 to grab some gloves and bags for your recyclables and trash, then spread out across both neighborhoods (Beltrami and Northeast Park). The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association will provide water, coffee and either breakfast or snacks to all participants.

Baby Gear Swap at Audubon
As part of the Audubon Spring Festival, there will be a “swap” of gear and clothing for babies (age 0-24 months). You do not need to bring swap items in order to take what you need, free. This event is for those who self-identify as LGBTQIA2S+, or as allies of the queer community.
