Reuse MN online auction
In the spirit of not making new “stuff,” most of the offerings are experiences, pre-loved or upcycled décor and accessories. Local artists Layl McDill and Becca David have experiences up for bid. A special group art show exploring food as nourishment for the body, mind, and soul — food as community, culture, memory, and experience. It's also a food drive: NOURISH will collect canned and dried goods (and raising funds) for Joyce Uptown Food Shelf, supporting neighbors facing food scarcity. HeightsNEXT Fall Cleanup
Gather at the Columbia Heights Public Library, 3939 Central Ave. NE, Saturday, Oct. 3, 9 am to get safety vests and garbage bag and your street/park assignments for all volunteers. Each group goes to their area and safely picks up trash from the sidewalks and vegetation along the sidewalks (or park). Dress for the weather. Wear gloves to pick up trash safely.
