Grocery shop for seniors
Grocery shop for seniors through Help At Your Door. Start your day off right and get some exercise while helping older adults meet their grocery needs. As a volunteer shopper you will work with a team of volunteers to fill orders at the grocery store for about 3 hours once a week or twice per month. Volunteers do not pay for groceries. In-person, all abilities fitness class where all are encouraged to come. Movements can be done seated or standing. A wide variety of balance, strength, and flexibility movements will be incorporated into this fun and social class. Physical distancing encouraged, but not required. No cost. Pre-registration is helpful for planning purposes but not required.

Matter of Balance
"A Matter of Balance," a falls prevention program for seniors 60+ will be held eight consecutive Tuesdays April 2-May 21, 10 am to 12 pm at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4101 Washington St. NE. This program is for you if you are concerned about falls, have had a fall in the past, restrict activities because of concerns about falling, want to improve balance, flexibility and strength.
