Northeast artists in “See. Say. Do.”
Several Northeast artists are participating in Art to Change the World’s non-traditional exhibit, “See. Say. DO.,” which includes 11 days of diverse programming, Oct. 4-14, at Squirrel Haus, 3450 Snelling Ave., an arts and community space in the Longfellow neighborhood. The Public Opening Night will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 7-10 pm.

St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church, 515 University Ave. NE, will host the Ninth Annual Byzantine Choral Festival’s Concert, Sunday, Oct. 7, at 5 pm. A Choral Workshop for choral singers who are interested in performing in the Sunday concert, will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 9 a.m.-2:30 pm.

All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914
"All Is Calm," recalls an astounding moment in history when Allied and German soldiers met in “No Man’s Land” and laid down their arms to celebrate the holiday together by trading carols, sharing food and drink, playing soccer and burying the dead. In some places the truce lasted only a night, in others it endured until New Year’s Day.
