The Northeast Community Band will present a fall concert Thursday, October 24, 7 pm at Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland Street NE. The band, under the direction of Tim Martin, will perform a pair of little-known Sousa marches as well as pieces evoking the autumnal season. Free. The band is still looking for percussionists. The St. Anthony Civic Orchestra will play its fall concert, Sunday, Nov. 3, 3 pm, at St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Road. The program will include Mendelssohn: The Hebrides Overture, Borodin: Polovtsian Dances #17, Dvorak: Symphony No. 9 "New World". Admission is free.
