Shrek the Musical at CHHS
Columbia Heights High School (CHHS) Theater students will perform“Shrek the Musical" in the CHHS Performing Arts Center, 1400 49th Ave. NE, Thursday, Dec. 5-Sunday, Dec. 8. The Midwest Polka Association invites the community to enjoy a wonderful afternoon of listening and dancing to a popular local polka band, Doctor Kielbasa. The dance will be held on Sunday, December 15 from 1-5 pm at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. A celebration of December birthdays will happen, as well, so come and enjoy a cupcake with the birthday dancers! Admission is $10 per person. Bar service is available. The Northeast Community Band will present its annual holiday concert Thursday, Dec. 19, 7 pm at Edison High School, 700 22nd Ave. NE. “School Pictures” at Theater Latté Da
Runs through March 2 at Theater Latté Da’s home at the Ritz Theater, 345 23th Ave. NE. Single tickets start at $36. Group, student and other discounts are also available. Tickets are on sale now through the box office at 612-339-3003 or online at latteda.org. In-person box office hours are Tuesday to Friday from 12-5 pm and Saturday from 12-5 pm when in performance. Minneapolis Musical Theatre (MMT) will present the premiere of Triassic Parq, The Musical. Religion, identity, sex and raptors.
