Summer Concerts at Beltrami Park
Beltrami Park, 1111 Summer Street NE, hosts its first-ever concert series this summer, every other Tuesday evening, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm: June 25: Forrest Miller & the Lodge Boys (Authentic classic country band). July 9: B+ Brass Band (7-piece brass band). July 23: Coax from Cuckanut (Folk pop music duo). August 20: Eco Funtime Puppet Show (Family puppet show).

Saturday, Aug. 17 & 31 , 9 am-12 noon. Meet at St. Anthony Falls Visitor Center. Consider joining a group of volunteers to maintain a demonstration prairie at Mill Ruins Park. This native prairie attracts many bees, butterflies and birds while improving the Mississippi River shoreline habitat. Led by a trained National Park Service (NPS) volunteer, this crew is also sponsored by the Mississippi Park Connection and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. Family Flannel Fest returns to Columbia Park
East Side Neighborhood Services will host its 2nd Annual Family Flannel Fest Feb. 9, 12:00pm-2:30pm at Columbia Manor, 3300 Central Ave NE, to benefit Camp Bovey. This free family event will host a large variety of indoor and outdoor activities including sledding, snowshoeing, shelter building, fire building and nature tables. Indoors you’ll find cookie decorating, family flannel photos, and crafts, plus chili and hot cocoa for sale. The 2020 Flannel Fest will also partner with Spots Last Stop Canine Rescue.…
