Bring your little one outside for an active literary adventure while discovering nature themes during imaginative play. Each week check out a new book alongside nature exploration activities while strolling through the park. For kids up to age 8 with an adult. This is an adult/child interactive experience. Plant + tend the demonstration prairie at Nicollet Island
Friends of the Mississippi River will meet June 8 to plant additional plugs of prairie grass and pull garlic mustard at their prairie restoration site on Nicollet Island. All are welcome. No experience is needed; however, registration is required and capacity is limited. All tools, gloves and training will be provided.
