Winter Hiking 101
This conversational event featuring founder of @BrownPeopleCamping Ambreen Tariq will introduce the basics of winter hiking so that more people can benefit from being outdoors during Minnesota’s signature season. This winter festival event began in 2021 as part of the City’s 100th anniversary; they decided to make it an annual gathering. Welcome back the herons at Marshall Terrace Park
Great blue herons start returning to their rookery on the Mississippi River toward the end of March. Join a National Park ranger at Marshall Terrace Park, 2740 Marshall St. NE, on Saturday, March 26, 11 am-1 pm, to watch them rebuild nests and do a little flirting. Final public hearing for Graco Park
A final public hearing on the concept and design of Graco Park will be held Wednesday, April 6, 6:30 pm at Minneapolis Park Board headquarters, 2117 West River Rd. The new park next to Hall’s Island and the Plymouth Avenue Bridge is scheduled to open in 2024.

Public hearing on Columbia Park Playground equipment replacement
