Public hearing on Columbia Park Playground equipment replacement
Individuals are welcome to review the preferred concept plan for replacing equipment at Columbia Park's 2-5 year old play area and submit their comments at a public hearing on Wednesday, May 4, 6:30 pm. Proposed play equipment includes a pirate ship theme, playhouse, spinner, toddler swings and a child/adult combined swing. A federal study will begin soon to consider the future of the Lower St. Anthony Falls and Lock and Dam No. 1 (a.k.a. Ford lock and dam) now that they no longer serve their original purpose.
