Fall street sweeping begins Oct. 23
On Oct. 23, Minneapolis Public Works will begin a four-week run of curb-to-curb sweeping and leaf collection on 1,000 miles of streets throughout the city. Temporary “No Parking” signs will be posted at least 24 hours in advance so streets will be clear of cars when they’re swept.

Armistice anniversary event
Hennepin County, the City of Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, and the City of Robbinsdale, are sponsoring an Armistice anniversary event, Sunday, Nov. 11, at 10 am, at Flagpole Plaza, 45th Avenue North and Victory Memorial Drive.

Mrs. Kelly’s Annual Tea Tasting
Mrs. Kelly’s Annual Tea Tasting, the Twin Cities’ largest tea tasting, will be Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1-2, 9 am-5 pm, at Mrs. Kelly’s Tea, in the Grain Belt Brewery Warehouse.

The Logan Park Neighborhood Association (LPNA) will have it Lights of Logan Lighting Contest, Sunday, Dec. 16. Light up the Neighborhood for a chance to have your electric bill paid. House and yard lights must be on by 5 pm to enter.
