“Forced From Home,” presented by Doctors Without Borders
Forced From Home is a free interactive tour that takes visitors behind the headlines about the global refugee crisis. Guided by experienced Doctors Without Borders aid workers, attendees will travel through an interactive exhibition designed to expose them to the challenges facing the more than 68.5 million people currently forced from their homes. Along the way, guests will learn about the humanitarian aid that is provided to those living in a crisis. On Oct. 23, Minneapolis Public Works will begin a four-week run of curb-to-curb sweeping and leaf collection on 1,000 miles of streets throughout the city. Temporary “No Parking” signs will be posted at least 24 hours in advance so streets will be clear of cars when they’re swept.
