Free Community Meal
Faith United Methodist Church, 2708 33rd Ave. NE, holds a free Community dinner every 2nd Thursday of the month, 5-6 pm. Everyone is welcome. Upcoming dates are Dec. 11. 2026 date are Jan. 8, Feb. 12, March 12, April 9, May 14, June 11, July 9, Aug. 13, Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10.

St. Maron Catholic Church, 602 University Ave. NE, will hold its annual Lebanese Fall Festival Sept. 18, 19, 20. New this year is BINGO only on Friday, Sept. 18, 6-9 pm. Theatre Pro Rata announces its upcoming production of "The Hired Man," by Minneapolis playwright Heather Meyer, directed by Jennie Ward. The play is set on a Wyoming cattle ranch where buried truths emerge and generations of silence give way to revelation. Saturday, Sept. 26, 12-9 pm and Sunday, Sept. 27, 12-6 pm, St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral, 1701 5th St. NE. Enjoy local ethnic foods including perohi, holubki, ustipci, as well as corn, fries, and more. Live entertainment, bingo and raffles, silent auction, kids' activities, beer/wine and marketplace.
