Kiwanis Spring Sprint 5K
The Columbia Heights-Fridley Kiwanis Club invites you to their Kiwanis Spring Sprint 5K fun run at Sullivan Lake Park, 721 51st Ave. NE, Saturday, May 14, 9 am. Northeast Farmers Market will host their 2nd annual Sweets Fundraiser on Saturday, May 14, 9 am until sold out. Menu includes a variety of sweets and treats from local bakers and businesses plus a cup of orange juice to top off your morning breakfast; $10 a box; $2 cup of OJ. Location: parking lot of St. Boniface Catholic Church, 629 University Avenue NE. They expect to sell out quickly, so come early to grab a box.

Boy Scout Troop 132 will hold their 23rd annual pancake breakfast on Sunday, May 22, 8:30 am-12:30 pm, at Mt. Carmel Lutheran l 1701 St. Anthony Pkwy. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, and eggs. Adult tickets are $8 and child tickets are $5. Available through curbside pickup and limited indoor dining.

Pillsbury Carnival
Pillsbury Elementary will hold a carnival fundraiser Friday, June 3, 5-8 pm at Windom Park, 2251 Hayes St. NE. In addition to carnival games and a silent auction, DJ Purple Queen, Carnage the Executioner and Vivid Black Rain will perform. An obstacle course will be set up in the park, and food trucks will be on hand. Sponsored by Windom Park Citizens in Action, BLVD Autoworks, and Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.

Bingo and Brats, aid for Ukraine
The public is invited to St. Michael's & St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Saturday, July 30 beginning at 4 pm for a fun evening of bingo and brats. The event will include outdoor food tents featuring Kramarczuk brats and pierogi-on-a-stick. Inside the church hall, play continuous bingo for cash and prizes. Twin Cities Ukrainian Heritage Festival
