Alight-A-Whirl
Alight-A-Whirl is an art sale – the weekend of Art-A-Whirl – benefiting refugee families in Minnesota and around the world. The sale is sponsored by Alight (formerly American Refugee Committee), a Minnesoata-based international humanitarian organization serving 4 million refugees and displaced people. The sale will be held May 16 and 17 at 1325 Quincy St. NE, Suite A1.

Food Truck Festival
Father Hennepin Bluff Park, 420 Main St. SE, will be the scene of the Minnesota Food Truck Festival Saturday, Aug. 1, 11 am-9 pm. More than 40 food trucks will be on hand for this free event, where every free wristband provides three meals for those in need via Feed My Starving Children. Music will be provided by Whiskey Stone, Tyte Phitt and Alex Rossi. Kid and canine-friendly.

Taste of Northeast Festival
Saturday, Sept. 26, 12-9 pm and Sunday, Sept. 27, 12-6 pm, St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral, 1701 5th St. NE. Enjoy local ethnic foods including perohi, holubki, ustipci, as well as corn, fries, and more. Live entertainment, bingo and raffles, silent auction, kids' activities, beer/wine and marketplace. Fall Festival/Brew For Good
