Mississippi River Pearl at Heights City Hall
Mississippi River Pearl, a sculpture created out of things pulled out of the Mississippi River by members of Art to Change the World, will be on exhibit at Columbia Heights City Hall, 3989 Central Ave. NE, April 16-May 7. The Northeast Community Band will present its end-of-the-season concert at the Como Lakeside Pavilion, 360 Lexington Pkwy. N in St. Paul, Thursday, May 30, 7 pm. The band will reprise some tunes from previous concerts this year and will feature Jack Stamp's "Pastime," a salute to baseball.

MnDOT meeting on University Ave.
The Minnesota Dept. of Transportation will hold a public meeting about the reconstruction of University Ave. from 27th Ave. NE to Central Ave. SE. at Las Estrellas Dual Language Elementary School, 1201 University Ave. NE, 4:30-6:30 pm, Tuesday, June 11. The project would begin in 2027.

On Wednesday, June 26 at 7 pm, U.S. Air Guitar, Route 47 Pub & Grub, Fridley Lions Club and SACA Food Shelf will host the 2024 Minneapolis U.S. Air Guitar Championships. Wolf Tales at Father Hennepin Bluffs
