The St. Anthony Friends of the Library will have an Author Talk, Monday, Oct. 21, 6:15-8 pm, at The Legacy of St. Anthony. Duchess Harris, co-author of “Hidden Human Computers: The Black Women of NASA,” will discuss her research and the history behind her book, as well the movie “Hidden Figures.”

ART365 kicks off Nov. 1
Organized by Northeast Minneapolis Arts District volunteers, ART365 invites the public to visit one featured working artist’s studio in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District each day of the year, noon-5 pm. The initiative will launch Friday, Nov. 1, at Mercury Mosaics, in the Thorpe complex.

Join the Lakes and Pines Division of the Train Collectors Association (TCA) for a toy train show and swap meet on Sunday, Nov. 10, 12:15-2:30 pm at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. 1850s Holiday Party at the historic Ard Godfrey House
The public is invited to attend an 1850s Holiday Party at the historic Ard Godfrey House, 28 University Ave. SE.
