The St. Anthony-Salo, Finland, Sister City Association will hold a 40th anniversary celebratory brunch on Sunday, April 27, 11:30 am-1:30 pm. The catered brunch will take at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Rd. The cost to attend is $20. Exhibit opening: “We Are Here To Stay” the California Building Story
Friday, May 2, 7-9 pm. This immersive and interactive exhibition celebrates the legacy of the California Building, from the exodus of the downtown art scene to NE Minneapolis starting in 1991. The California Building became the first factory in Northeast Minneapolis dedicated entirely to workspace for artists.
