Take your little monsters trick or treating along 13th Ave. NE Sunday, Oct. 27, 3-4:30 pm. 13th Ave businesses will hand out candy and host kid activities along the route. Stop by The Briar, 1231 Washington St. NE, to grab a coloring sheet from the Logan Park Neighborhood Association.

Professional Wrestling at Murzyn Hall
The Columbia Heights Lions will host professional wrestling at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE, on Saturday, Nov. 23. Doors open at 6 pm and bell time is 7 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door; 9 years old and younger get in for free with a paid adult. See family-friendly, action-packed entertainment by the AWF, and enjoy the Lions Cash Bar.

Santa on the fire truck
Santa's Helpers at the St. Anthony Fire Department are joining Santa to spread some holiday cheer throughout the Village. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will roll into the neighborhood Thursday, Dec. 12. In its 26th year of operation, the train will stop at 37th and Stinson Blvd. approximately 8:15-8:45 pm. The Lone Bellow and Tiera Kennedy are scheduled to perform. The train raises money for food banks in its areas of operation; East Side Neighborhood Services will be the beneficiary.

SnowBLAST returns on Saturday, Feb. 1, 4-7 pm at Huset Park, 3965 Jefferson St. NE. Live music from Columbia Heights band Pickle. HeightsNEXT will have a free s’mores station, Community Grounds will have free hot cocoa, the Columbia Heights Athletic Boosters will have soup for sale, and the Columbia Heights Lions Club will sell alcoholic drinks.
