River Rats water skiing shows
The River Rats water skiing team is back on the Mississippi River, providing free shows on Thursday nights throughout the summer. Pre-show at 6:30, performance at 7 pm, until August, when pre-show starts at 6:15 and performance at 6:45. Dates are May 29; June 5, 12, 19 and 26; July 3, 10, 17, 23 and 24 (Aquatennial warmup and performance) and 31; Aug. 8, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28.

Logan Park Neighborhood Associatoin and Pedal Power present Bike Rodeo, Saturday, June 14 at Logan Park, 690 13th Ave. NE, 1-3 pm. Celebrate bike riding with a bicycle obstacle course designed with kids and new riders in mind. Decorate your bike and helmet; learn how to ride a bike. Join the Epsilon Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated (a Black Greek Letter Organization) for story hour at the cafe. The National Wildlife Federation’s Mayors’ Monarch Pledge encourages communities to create habitats for the monarch butterfly and other pollinators and educate residents about how to make a difference. As part of the Monarch Pledge, the City will hold a Monarch Festival on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 4-7 pm, Huset Park, 3965 Jefferson St. NE, with activities and entertainment celebrating pollinators.
