Heights Cultural Festival
As part of the continuing celebration of Columbia Heights' 100th anniversary, a cultural festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, 2-5 pm, in the Columbia Heights High School Gym, 1400 49th Ave NE. Performers include Black & African-American community singers and poets, Somali Museum Dancers, Korean drummers, Native American drummers, Ecuadorian Dancers, First Lutheran Scandinavian Choir and Dolina Polish Dancers. Site improvement plans at Northrup King
Oct. 7, First Thursday open studios at the Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson St. NE, will feature a look at plans for site improvements.
