Poetry: The Sonnet
Catholic Eldercare will host a free presentation on Monday, May 6, 1:30-3 pm at the MainStreet Lodge, 909 Main St. NE. The sonnet is a short poem, crafted in one of several possible patterns, and focused on a main idea. It derives much of its strength form the conventions of developing that main idea, and then responding to it.
