Canning class at Northeast UMC
Basic demonstration and participation of water bath canning as recommended by USDA. No cost unless you wish to purchase apple butter or salsa that we will be canning. Email contact information and request class place reservation to admin@northeastumc.com for class on September 30th, 2018 from 1-4 pm in the kitchen at Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland Street NE, Mpls.

Healing Mass at Immaculate Conception
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4030 Jackson St. NE, will have a Healing Mass followed by healing prayers, with celebrant, Father Ubald Rugirangoga from Rwanda, Thursday, Oct. 4, at 5 pm.

Join them for their annual Blessing of the Animals, Saturday, Oct. 6, 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes, One Lourdes Place. A celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron of animals and the environment. Father Griffith and Father Fichtinger will share blessings. Refreshments will be available and the folks from Chuck and Don’s will have treats for your four-legged friends. Everyone is welcome.

The Church of St. Charles Borromeo Fall Festival will take place Saturday, October 6, 4-9 pm, on the front lawn of the parish/school. The night will feature food provided by Jake's City Grille, live music by The Elements, wine and beer, fun raffles, and games and prizes for the kids.
