PYROHY (Pierogi) Fridays at St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church
St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church, 314 6th Ave. NE, sells pyrhoys (the "ultimate Ukrainian comfort food") Fridays, 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Menu includes pyrohy are available in potato or sauerkraut varieties, $11/dozen (fresh), $10/dozen (frozen); side of caramelized onions: $.75 per container (maximum 1 per dozen); frozen borscht (limited availability): $5/12 oz. Back to the Pews at St. Boniface
St Boniface Catholic Church, 629 NE 2nd Street, welcomes all to celebrate the Feast of the Pentecost and the Feast of St Boniface on June 4 and 5. The Catholic Churches of Northeast Minneapolis will be hosting the 17th Annual Northeast Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, June 12. The procession will begin at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE at 3 pm, and will conclude at the Church of All Saints, 435 4th St. NE, after processing past Sts. The public is invited to St. Michael's & St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Saturday, July 30 beginning at 4 pm for a fun evening of bingo and brats. The event will include outdoor food tents featuring Kramarczuk brats and pierogi-on-a-stick. Inside the church hall, play continuous bingo for cash and prizes.
