International Women’s Day at Broken Clock
Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative, 1712 Marshall St. NE, Suite 100, will host a celebration of International Women's Day, Saturday, March 8. Activities include a self-defense class, 11 am-12 pm (learn to throw a punch and protect your peace); period kit assembly, 2-3:30 pm (give back and support the community); and local women vendors – shop and support female entrepreneurs. Unveil, a fashion show put on by students graduating from the University of Minnesota's apparel program, will be held Saturday, March 22 at The Whim, 655 19th Ave. NE. Meant for anyone from the public who is interested in fashion or wants to learn more about University's fashion program.
