NE Calendar call for art
The 2017 Northeast Calendar will be designed by award-winning artist Kevin Cannon. It will feature information about all fourteen Northeast neighborhoods. The 2017 calendar will be a fourteen-month calendar (it will include extra months for extended use and transition.) Each neighborhood will be given a page in the calendar. There will be a world premiere screening of “For Art’s Sake,” the prospective television pilot that was filmed mostly in Northeast Minneapolis. The plot is a one-famous New York art critic, now professor, whose challenge is to keep his volcanic temper in check in order to keep his job and allow his estranged daughter to get her college education.
