“First 100 Days”
Howard M. Christopherson will document the first 100 days of Donald Trump's second presidential term. From Jan. 20 to April 30, he will create a new, one-of-a-kind 6x6-inch piece of art every day, with each piece inspired by the events of the day and his own emotional and intellectual reactions. Northeast Calendar Call for Art
The call for art is open for the 2026 Northeast Calendar, coordinated by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. They want vibrant, active, beautiful, and/or humorous art images, including but not limited to paintings, collages, printmaking, photographs and drawings about Northeast Minneapolis that represent and convey and capture a sense of community togetherness and spirit. In the summer of 2024, as artist-in-residence at the Lyndale Park Rose Garden, Regan Golden photographed over 250 rose species, deeply immersing herself in the symbolism, history and structural complexity of the rose. Snack and Squish: “Lazy Susan and Wonder Woman”
