“Sharing Our Stories” call tree
Want to stay connected to others? Join East Side Neighborhood Services “Share Our Stories” call tree to stay socially connected using the “old” technology of the telephone.
The call trees are groups of people who once a week call another participant and are, in turn, called by another participant. We will assign people to a group and share the names and phone numbers with just the people in their group. Each group is limited to four participants.
Each week, call tree uses a story prompt like, “How did you come in live in the Twin Cities?,” as a place to start a conversation. Participants are asked to commit to making their calls for at least four weeks. Organizers hope that after the threat of COVID-19 has subsided, participants can gather and celebrate sharing stories in community. Vital Living programs are designed for older adults, but everyone is welcome. Info: Jennifer at VitalLiving@esns.org or 612-787-4086.
