Organ Recital at Holy Cross

Organist and composer Evan Pechacek will present Across the Pond and Back, an organ recital featuring music from Europe and the United States spanning more than three centuries of musical history, at 7 pm Wednesday, June 24, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE. The program will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Léon Boëllmann, Jehan Alain, Herbert Sumsion, Alan Ridout, and Hans-André Stamm, alongside a composition by Pechacek himself. Drawing from German, French, British, Polish, Czech, and American traditions, the recital explores the rich variety of styles and colors found in organ literature. Admission is free, with a suggested donation accepted at the door.
