Doors Open Minneapolis postponed to May 2021
The Board for Doors Open Minneapolis along with Mayor Frey decided it would be best to postpone Doors Open Minneapolis until May 15 and 16, 2021. The uncertainty of assembling in groups this fall and the inability of many of the venues to be open to the public in 2020 factored in the decision. Doors Open Minneapolis is also working on integrating the events that have transpired in recent months to become part of the story told through venues and buildings in 2021. Over 100 venues representing the many neighborhoods of Minneapolis will participate. This weekend long event will be free and open to the public.
