HeightsNEXT Fall Clean-Up

Join HeightsNEXT for their Annual Fall Clean-Up Saturday, Oct. 11, 9 am, Columbia Heights Public Library, 3939 Central Ave. NE. Gather at the to pick up safety vests and garbage bags. Then, get your street/park assignments for all volunteers. (Park assignments are made for families with young children who participate.) Each group goes to their area and safely picks up trash from the sidewalks and vegetation along the sidewalks (or park). Dress for the weather. Wear gloves to pick up trash safely. The event will be canceled if there is dangerous weather, but otherwise, this happens rain or shine. All ages are welcome, but children must be supervised. Families with young children will be assigned to parks.
