Celebrate Northeast Parade seeks entrants, nominations

The 97th annual Celebrate Northeast Parade will take place Tuesday, June 16, 6:30 pm along Central Ave. NE from 27th to 18th avenues. The annual community event celebrates the individuals, businesses, organizations, faith groups, and neighborhood groups that contribute to Northeast Minneapolis. Parade registration is open for businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, elected officials, and other groups interested in participating. The registration deadline is May 30. Organizers may limit the parade to 100 entrants. Nominations are also open for the 2026 Northeaster Grand Marshal and Community Ambassador awards, which recognize individuals who make significant contributions to the Northeast Minneapolis community through volunteerism, neighborhood involvement, and community leadership.
