“34 MPH”
""34 MPH” is a live multimedia performance based on the legendary final stage of the 1989 Tour de France — when American cyclist Greg Lemond averaged 34 mph to clinch victory by just 8 seconds, the narrowest margin in Tour history. Celebrating with Purpose
Saturday, May 2, Grumpy's NE, 2200 4th St. NE, 1-8 pm, outdoors, rain or shine. A food drive to benefit The Food Group, this is a pay-what-you-can-afford, cash-only event (suggested donation, $20). Grumpy's will supply food, Country Mike, Rude Girl, Whiskey Rock 'n Roll Club, Heartless, Trompe le Monde and Cars for Skids will provide the music.
