Election Day is on November 4 of this year, and several positions — at varying levels of local government — will be up for grabs. As of the time of publication, roughly fifty people have filed for candidacy for mayoral seats, School Board memberships, City Council posts and more.
Minneapolis uses ranked-choice voting in all of its municipal elections; residents will be able to rank three candidates for one position in order of preference.
