Roundabout to be installed
From mid-August through September, the intersection of Silver Lake Road and 29th Ave. NE will feature a temporary roundabout. According to the City of St. Anthony, the project “will allow city, county and state partners to observe how the intersection functions and gather data to better understand potential future opportunities in our community.” Residents are invited to take a survey about the project at https://bit.ly/SilverLakeRoundabout.
Minneapolis tree sales underway
The City of Minneapolis’ City Trees program has entered its 20th year. The program allows city residents to apply to purchase trees for $30. Each purchase includes a bag of mulch. Interested residents should order by September 15. To learn more, visit https://bit.ly/TreeSales26.
Theater company returns
After taking a hiatus, the Saint Anthony Community Theater (SACT) is returning. The organization has a new board of directors and is preparing for its 2027 season.
“We are absolutely thrilled to revive this cherished community institution,” said Board President Tom Archibald. “Theater has a unique way of bringing people together, and we have deeply missed that connection. Our goal for 2027 is to deliver high-quality, inclusive productions that welcome back long-time patrons while inspiring a new generation of local artists and theater lovers.”

Simon Graves, Columbia Heights, and Milo Keyes, Minneapolis, were named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s Honor List at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ava Busch-Manske, Lauren
Daher, Lena Freeman, Gavin Jensen and Kira Rath, Minneapolis, were named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Graves, Daher and Keyes graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Sam Kimball and Andrew Pechenuk, Minneapolis, and Natalie Thuente, St. Anthony, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Gabriel Eduarte, St. Anthony, was named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s List at Emmanuel College.
