Street sweeping in Minneapolis
Public Works is midway through its spring street sweeping program that began on April 21 in Minneapolis. The program aims to clear away what accumulated in the streets over the winter. Drivers are advised to look for temporary hot pink “No Parking” signs in order to avoid a ticket or towing. The signs will be posted at least 24 hours prior to sweeping taking place to give drivers adequate time to relocate their vehicles.
The program will last for approximately four weeks. The schedule can be found on the City’s interactive map at https://www.minneap
