Omega D.E.A.R.: Monthly children’s book reading
Join the Epsilon Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated (a Black Greek Letter Organization) for story hour at the cafe. Now in its 27th year, the Northeast Community Band will perform its final concert of the season at Huset Park, 3965 Jefferson St. NE, Wednesday. Aug. 20, 6:30 pm. The band rehearses on Thursday nights at Edison High School during the school year. Each year, the band awards a scholarship to an Edison senior to encourage them to continue their musical journey.
