Neighborhood Legislative Town Hall
Join Rep. Jordan and Sen. Clark for a community conversation on Saturday, March 22, 2 pm at Eastside Food Co-op Community Room, 2551 Central Ave NE. The style will be a town hall forum with the ability to ask the representatives questions and hear about this upcoming legislative session.Hosted by the local neighborhood groups of Legislative District 60A.

Unveil, a fashion show put on by students graduating from the University of Minnesota's apparel program, will be held Saturday, March 22 at The Whim, 655 19th Ave. NE. Meant for anyone from the public who is interested in fashion or wants to learn more about University's fashion program. Tickets for the general public are $32 and can be purchased through tickets.umn.edu/UMTE/Online/default.asp. Tickets will not be sold at the door. There will be two shows, 4 pm and 7 pm.

Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE, will host a free concert by the Orchestra of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University on Saturday, March 29, 2 pm. The concert features works by Bach, Elgar, Bartok, and other living composers. The program runs less than one hour in length, making it an ideal program for families to attend. Mel Hart graduated from St. Anthony Village High School in 1963. Tragically, he was killed in action on May 4, 1966, while serving his country. In honor of Mel's memory and achievements, a scholarship bearing his name was established at St. Anthony High School. Steele & Hops, 2800 39th Ave. NE, will host a breakfast Saturday, April 5, 9-11 am. Proceeds will go towards scholarships for a boy and girl. The cost of the breakfast buffet will be $15.
