Haunted Basement at 2010 E. Hennepin
The Haunted Basement returns for its eleventh year of traumatizing the masses, while bringing an all-new layer of dread to their performances with at their new home, located at Building 9 of 2010 East Hennepin Ave. in Northeast Minneapolis.This year’s run will begin on Friday, October 5 and run through Halloween; with performances on Fridays through Sundays October 5-14, Thursdays through Sundays October 18-28, and a final show on Wednesday, October 31 (of course). Join them for their annual Blessing of the Animals, Saturday, Oct. 6, 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes, One Lourdes Place. A celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron of animals and the environment. Father Griffith and Father Fichtinger will share blessings. The Church of St. Charles Borromeo Fall Festival will take place Saturday, October 6, 4-9 pm, on the front lawn of the parish/school. The night will feature food provided by Jake's City Grille, live music by The Elements, wine and beer, fun raffles, and games and prizes for the kids. Several Northeast artists are participating in Art to Change the World’s non-traditional exhibit, “See. Say.
