Winter Wear Drive
Nov. 27-Dec. 15: If you have new or gently used winter wear appropriate for teens grades 9-12 (sizes adult small-XXL) please drop them off at the reception desk at Edison High School, 700 22nd Avenue NE. Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland Street NE, will present its free Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. The dinner will include all the traditional foods, from turkey to pumpkin pie.

St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4101 Washington St. NE, hosts its 24th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 28 following their 10 am service. The free turkey dinner with all the trimmings is served from 11 am-2:30 pm. This dinner is open to any families and individuals in need of a welcome place to spend the holiday. 1850s Holiday Party at the historic Ard Godfrey House
