CHPS Board of Education Candidate Forum
Columbia Heights Public Schools’ Teacher’s Union Local 710 will sponsor a candidate forum for positions on the Columbia Heights Board of Education on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 5:30-7 pm in the Community Room in the District Center. The six people running for the three separate four-year terms were invited to participate. Four days of fun Sept. 29-Oct. 2. Thursday events: The Rockin’ Hollywoods at the Hollywood Theatre, 2815 Johnson St. NE and Rock the Tent at Shaw’s, 1528 University Ave. NE, featuring four bands with Edison alumni ties. Tommie Twirl with the Rockin’ Hollywoods has been moved from the Hollywood Theater to The Sinclair on Grand at 1903 Grand St. NE.
