CHPS Board of Education Candidate Forum
Columbia Heights Public Schools’ Teacher’s Union Local 710 will sponsor a candidate forum for positions on the Columbia Heights Board of Education on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 5:30-7 pm in the Community Room in the District Center. The six people running for the three separate four-year terms were invited to participate. Four days of fun Sept. 29-Oct. 2. Thursday events: The Rockin’ Hollywoods at the Hollywood Theatre, 2815 Johnson St. NE and Rock the Tent at Shaw’s, 1528 University Ave. NE, featuring four bands with Edison alumni ties.
