The call for art is open for the 2024 Northeast Calendar, coordinated by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. Images should represent Northeast in various ways and seasons. Deadline September 1. All mediums welcome; submissions should be print-ready digital images. Friends of the Pierre Bottineau Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, June 10, 10 am-2 pm at the Pierre Bottineau Library, 55 Broadway St. NE. Hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books (most $.50-$1) in hardcover and paperback as well as some vintage vinyl. "Blind date" books for sale, too. Items are withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public. Funds raised will benefit the library.
